Suvrat Kothari (pronounced suu-vruh-th) is a daily news writer at InsideEVs. Based in New York City, he hails from Pune – the Detroit of India – where he grew up reading Top Gear and Autocar magazines. The moment that solidified his passion for motoring journalism was a therapeutic, 350-mile drive in a Renault Grand Scenic from Clermont-Ferrand to Biarritz in France with some friends and a farting labrador.
Since then, Kothari has worked as a senior correspondent at Evo India, and an assistant editor at TopElectricSUV.com. He is currently a contributor to Cooper Squared, a publication under New York University’s Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute, where he’s currently a graduate student in the Magazine and Digital Storytelling program.
